a verynice design studio

A collection of pro bono work done for a verynice design studio, a global design-strategy consultancy.

"How to Give Half of Your Work Away For Free," written by Matthew Manos, founder of a verynice design studio, asked me to be a contributing artist and create something that is inspired by the notion of giving half of your work away for free. I decided to create a type-based image for the book.

In partnership with Yale School of Management. The school wanted a t-shirt design created for the graduating class of 2014. The design incorporates the familiar shape and elements of the school's crest in gold ink, the color that the c/o 2014 was given. The word "Au•Som" comes from combining the periodic symbol for gold (Au) with the school's initials (School of Management = S.O.M.).
