I'm Cris Bernabe-Sanchez, a Los Angeles-based graphic designer, focusing mainly on illustration, typography, and logo design. When I'm not designing, I'm either playing basketball on campus at UCLA, outside enjoying the Southern California sun, or binge watching reruns of “The Office” and “Parks and Rec.”

About Me

I'm originally from the Inland Empire where I grew up in the town of Rancho Cucamonga. I've been drawing ever since I can remember and got most of my inspiration from Disney animated films like Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King. In high school I fell in love with graphic design and decided to pursue a career in design during my senior year.

I began studying at UCLA in 2006 as an undergrad in the Design|Media Arts department and recieved my BFA in June of 2010. Since graduating, I've worked on some great projects ranging from sports to corporate to entertainment.

I currently work as an art director at BLT Communications in Hollywood, CA in the BLT+ department where we focus mainly on digital and social campaigns. I'm responsible for creating web and print graphics as well as overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure our clients’ overall visual messages are clearly communicated.
